        <![CDATA[ As a topic as dull as ditchwater but here goes!
Been looking for some new fishing trousers - not overtrousers or thermal trousers but plain old fishing trousers.
My spec was:
Polycotton for quick drying,bit of water repellancy and help in staying clean (100% cotton is poor in all three issues)
Belt loops so I've something to attach my thigh wader straps too.
Double fabric at seat and knee
Some zipped pockets
Just about smart enough to go straight to the pub from the river (not on their own... ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ I've added a pair of goretex gaiters to my craghoppers recently, sick of getting really muddy calves. They work very well in conjunction with the hoppers. 			<description><![CDATA[ Fleece lined tracky bottoms a size to big and in green for me.<br>
<br>
I've had them a few years now, they called out to me from a charity shop as I was passing one day. I think they cost me a pound.<br>
<br>
I usually wear a fishrite bib and brace over them, the warmest most comfortable combination I have ever found.<br>
<br>
In the summer I wear cheap zip off's and gaiters if it is wet or if I am stalking.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ The much vaunted Craghoppers had their first outing yesterday. Did everything asked of them (which wasn't actually that much in truth!) except catch me fish. River was bombing through like a 1950s centre-forward, with four ounces of lead bouncing along like Barnes-Wallis. Hooked a big fish first cast which I lost after a dramatic floodwater fight and that was it - nowt, rien, nada, niente - not so much as tremble on the tip.<br>
Perhaps I should have got the Snowbees after all - they actually... ]]></description>

I've got a pair of Kiwi in Bark (brown to you and me) as soon my local outdoor supplier get the green (cactus) ones I'll be getting a pair of them too. Great pants with loads of security pockets that stop me getting paranoid about my wallet and car keys.....get some Mine cost me £26 from the factory outlet shop. ]]></description>

Another vote for the craghoppers for me. I have the zip off type for summer and they are excellent. Quick drying and cool. Also have the lined winter ones which do not zip off and they too are excellent. Not zipping off isn't an issue for me anyway as 95% of the time I am in overtrousers as well anyway.<br>

They also do an all-weather suit (bib 'n' brace &amp; big jacket) that looks great for a shim under £80.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ yeah I use the craghoppers kiwi trousers in zip off summer style for fishing and all sorts. Check out the craghopper website for them. The winter trousers are good, but don't zip off as far as I can tell. I would recommend these trousers to any fishermen. I used mine, summer weight, with a pair of merino thermals on thursday in quite cold weather and I didn't get cold.<br>

A final tip, if you have a TK Maxx near you the trousers are cheaper there, got them for £18-20 instead of... ]]></description>

Expensive I know but I think they are a sound investment as they'll last years. <br>
