, i really need to find a decent rod which breaks down into sections of 3ft or less, needs to be preferably over 12 ft and versatile in as much as it will be used with both a float and with a lead at other times, the lead doesnt need to

Then the clouds cleared and the moon was so bright it was like having a torch shining in my eyes. I didn't catch all night till about 07.30 Moon gone and i had a carp.

So was it the moon or temp drop?

Or just bad luck!

With carp the curtain is an indication that a fish has never been caught - is this the same for Barbel and can anyone tell me why they disappear when the fish has been caught?
