I have just finished reading Steves latest book A Thirst for Knowledge. I have to say that in my opinion it is his best book to date so far. I just could not put it down once I got reading it. In the picture gallery there are also a couple of handsome chaps too. So if you are stuck for something to do during the close season then you could do worse than read this book. Steve will be at the Barbel Society AGM selling copies for those intrested.<br>

Mine was quite easy. <br>

I seem to have barbel tunnel vision meaning that I fish for them no matter what the conditions when I should be after other species. <br>

      After the winds of the last day of the season I am now in need of a new umbrella type shelter.The one I was using was a fox oval plus, which unfortunately was not up to the job.<br>
       I liked the fox oval plus with the side wings on it, as it helped to keep out draughts so I was wanting a similar one. I have looked at the JRC one.Has anybody got any more suggestions?<br>
