I'm very pleased to say that Bob Gill (bgit) will be taking over the management of the BFW reviews pages. This is the first of the restructuring changes we've got planned for the site that should make BFW bigger and better than ever.

I know the water (aka Bradmere) was near Chagford, was an old copper mine and was owned by the Drewsteignton Estate; can anyone add anything?

As this is my first year fishing for Barbel (been angling for 24 years - why has it taken me so long to discover them!), I've a lot to learn.

In winter floods I've always been lead to believe that fish push up into the side streams in order to escape the fast water. However, from what I understand Barbel don't do this?
