Hi All
No way to gauge this, but there are certainly more Barbelers now than 10 years ago and even more drastic form the 10 before that. A growing following. I wonder how many there are. The B S have a 1000 plus membership, probably 1500 and some this new subscription. There must be at least that and double who don’t join out there. So would 5,000 be out the way. Then if some businesses can survive on Barbeling income, maybe there are more. Any idea’s ?
In an area of about two to three tennis courts I just saw what must have been a hundred if not more carp up to 25lb+ going absolutely garety in two foot of water. The view from 15 foot up a willow was something to behold. Anyone who knows Danson Park In Welling should get themselves down to the Island sanctury end of the lake to see it.
Hi all,

I have now uploaded some new pages to our message archive area. Paul Whiteing has kindly produced searchable pages that will enable users to easily locate any old thread in the BFW archives. If you go to the 'Archives' area using the button in the menu at the top of the screen you will see the links to the new pages. I'm sure this will prove a very useful feature so many thanks to Paul for putting the time in to do it.
Thanks also to Mike Berridge for the new review...

All I want is the perspective of someone who actuallt went out of his way ( across the water ) to catch the slimy buggers. Just how many ton up bags did you and the rest of the Barnsley boys manage, you must have had more luck on the piscatorial front...
