With a very young family & work commitments I am restricted to a relitively few outings per season & as a result tend to stick to the same stretch all season.

For the last couple of years I have exclusively concentrated on "Upper" & for a few seasons prior to that "Lower".

As a RDAA member I have (probably naively)never bothered with Aldermaston Mill.

As prospects are not good right now, I have to make do with thinking about our precious Barbel.
I wonder how others map out their fishing ?

My season has been one of finding my way around a new ( to me ) river, the Kennet. We have a lot of water, I have fished most stretches available to me. I have an ongoing passion for a good Thames Barbel, so have been dedicating some time to my also new stretch of the Thames ( Reading area )
