On the 19th January 2002, at the Premiere Lodge Hotel in Essex, a meeting was held whereby the 'River Systems Support Group', or RSSG, was born. This came about via the Barbel Fishing World's "open to all" river campaign, where over two thirds of BFW members pledged their individual support. This support is further bolstered by many coming from outside of the BFW website, who are themselves concerned about the future of our river systems and the many fishing organisations along...

First of all I would like to apologize for being so demanding of everyone on here. I am housebound and chairbound at the moment with just a four year old for company. This is the only adult conversation I get, and am missing my fishing like mad.
That said, I was wondering how much effort everyone puts in to learning a particular swim?. Do you ever fish the same swim in succession?. I am limited to close to car swims, so something I tend to do out of necessity....Liam

We must all have an instance in our fishing experiences that we regret.
One I can think of happened quite recently which I posted on the Wye thread. It was as I drove down the forestry track one morning when a large bird of prey was flying along in front of me,the bird kept at an equal distance from me swooping and veering along,at a point the bird suddenly veered right, over the trees and across the river,my only...
