First ever post on here,I'm off to Bewdley in the second week of July with my girlfriend for a couple of days and I'm hoping to get some fishing in during the evenings. Can anyone give me a bit of a overview of the Aldermaston area of the Kennet? Is it one of those hard areas or does it produce good sport without massive difficulties? I'm hoping to have a summer outing there. PM me if you'd like.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ I fished the Oxford Canal today at a stretch where the river runs more or less alongside. I know that barbel populations in the Cherwell are very isolated and have never fished the river so don't know the areas with previous form, but from what I saw today, I can't understand why they don't widely populate the river.<br>
