The Fox evolution weighs 6.5 kilos and can be set up in less than a minute. A good brolly can weigh 4.5 kilos, so there is not much difference in the weight.
The bivvy offers you far better cover and can keep your gear totally dry, my gear ended up soaked, muddy and weighing what seemed twice as much as when I set off.

It was my birthday a few days. Apparently life now begins. The ever-lovin' bought me a centrepin to mark the occasion and tomorrow will be its first trip out. Its a Youngs BJ Lightweight 4 1/2" x 1" and I have to say its a beautiful piece of engineering. My question though is whether it is better to load the line coming from the top or bottom of the reel? Or does it make no difference (personal choice?)? Thanks for any help!

When I go the River Goyt through the Rivers Section at the top of the page and click on reports I get an (apparently live) thread with two posts on it. When I 'jump to' the River Reports using the link at the foot of the page I get a different Goyt thread with 8 posts on it.
What is happening please and what is the BFW recommended route to specific river reports? Still cant understand why we didn't just leave the old ones running - the last week has been a nightmare!
