			<title><![CDATA[ connecting hook links ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have mainly used the loop to loop connection between hook length and main line , with the lead being held back using a small ledger clip.This is so that I can shorten or lengthen the hook length as needed. I have noticed that on occasions the hook length has broken just by the knot, and am concerned that the knot itself is reducing line strength. I am considering using a small swivel or clip to tie the hook length / main line to, in order to maintain line strength. <br>

			<description><![CDATA[ The insurance company have finally settled and I've been out and purchased my new gear.<br>

I've upgraded some of my tackle like my brolly and a couple of rods to Grey's.<br>

Forgot some things like my landing net poles and nets but been out this weekend and acquired a few replacements, should be well sorted for the new season.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ Before I christen my wife's shiny new pressure cooker with a couple of pounds of hemp, does anyone have any expierence of cooking particles using a pressure cooker?<br>

I'm guessing hemp that hasn't been pre-soaked should be split within 10 mins at pressure.<br>

Also , interested to hear whether larger/mixed particles (maize / partiblend) can be cooked without presoaking.<br>

It has been put to me that there is a possibility of the formation of a small syndicate to fish the river at Ringstead. Whilst i already fish this stretch and basically have the best bit of barbel fishing on the whole of the river Nene to myself - i only saw one other angler last year at night, the availability of safe parking along most of the stretch to cut out the damn hiking i have to do is very atractive (another back operation this Tuesday<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :(... ]]></description>
