Lads at work think am mad because of the distance i travel to barbel fishing , the swale is around 92 mile trip from my
house (but i love it ) the wharfe is around 50, and Ive just bought a book for a river which is 140 mile round trip would anyone class this
as mad? i dont mind traveling and putting the effort in for my fishing just intrested to find out how far other barbel anglers will travel

I currently fish for barbel in and around my local Gloucester area. For the coming season I plan to travel a little further afield and would appreciate opinions on which ticket would be best to buy...
so far the favourite looks to be the BAA ticket, but i am open to suggestions ( i dont really want to travel more than an hour, so north Worcs is probably my limit)

Thats why I have lots of time for the Match lads or the dicicated Stick Float anglers, who have imence skill when catch their fish.

Where do you you fit and does it matter if your a Trapper or catcher ?
